K.O. is a third generation auto dealer who embodies the principles and values handed down from his grandfather, Jack Olsen, and his father, Kent Murdock. His personal touch and involvement with so many of his dealership's sales and service clients make him unique in the industry.
K.O. manages the day to day operations of Murdock Chevrolet, making sure that his team delivers the "No Regrets Promise" to every customer. The high level of tenure among his staff is a testament to how he treats Murdock employees. He knows that if dealership employees are happy and satisfied, they will exceed their customer's expectations as well. Some years ago, he created the well-known slogan "U-R the heart of our business." This slogan and attitude continue to be an integral part of how the Murdocks do business.
When not at the dealership, K.O. enjoys spending time with his 4 children and 11 grandchildren. He is also an avid runner and has participated in countless marathons and other races. K.O. believes that balancing one's family, faith, health, and professional time is key to enjoying a happy and fulfilling life.
Tyson is a fourth generation auto dealer. He grew up in the auto industry, learning from his father the core values that have made Murdock Chevrolet the reputable and successful business it is today. He applies those same values as General Manager of the dealership to ensure a No Regrets experience for every customer. What Tyson enjoys most about his job is having the opportunity to work with his dad, meeting new people, and seeing previous sales and service guests come back for help with their automotive needs.
Tyson's qualifications include extensive training from the National Automobile Dealers Association's Dealer Academy as well as experience in nearly all positions at the dealership.
When not in the office Tyson enjoys spending his time with family, golfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, watching the Utah Jazz, and going to the movies.
Randy loves the car business. He began his career in 1994 and joined the Murdock Team in 2012. His favorite thing about Murdock Chevrolet is the company's great reputation and culture of going above and beyond to take care of its customers.
Randy believes that customer service means doing the right thing for the right reason to take care of employees & guests. He hopes to build many more great relationships with people at Murdock Chevrolet.
Randy loves to spend time with his family. He also fishes and plays sports with his two sons. A former football player for the University of Utah, Randy knows the meaning of hard work and dedication.
What Scott likes most about his job are the people. To him customer service means creating a positive and enjoyable experience before, during, and after the sale.
Scott and his family are avid University of Utah fans. He enjoys spending time with his family at games and also finds occasion to play a round of golf when away from the office.
Kelly has been in the car business since 1996. He motivates his colleagues and customers with a high level of service and a contagious enthusiasm. Helping other people and serving his customers is deeply rooted in his nature and personality.
Kelly is passionate about his family, faith, work, baseball, and an obscure little Canadian rock band called Rush.
Darin likes to spend time at the gym. He also enjoys playing guitar.
Steve has been in the auto industry for 37 years; 30 of which have been spent with Murdock. He has served most of his time here in sales management and his knowledge of the Chevy brand and product line is unparalleled. What Steve likes most about his job is working with good people.
To Steve, customer service means always going the extra mile and surpassing people's expectations. Steve owes his long-term relationship with so many of his customers who insist on working only with him to his commitment to customer service.
Steve is a committed husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoys playing the drums, golfing, boating, and motorcycle riding.
Jeff has been working in auto sales since 1987. He joined Murdock Chevrolet in 1994 and enjoys serving guests as much today as he did when he started.
He is a Mark of Excellence award winner as well as a member of the Society of Sales Executives.
When not at work you will find Jeff with family and friends golfing or enjoying the outdoors.
Jeff started his career in the industry 22 years ago right here at Murdock Chevrolet. He is a winner of GMs prestigious Mark of Excellence Award for outstanding performance and customer service. He is also an Executive Member of the Society of Sales and is F&I Legal & Ethical Standards certified.
What Jeff likes most about his job is interacting with past and new customers, many of whom request that he handle their paperwork and financing when purchasing a car. He knows that if he takes care of his customers, they will take care of him.
Jeff enjoys taking time off to golf, fish, and mountain bike.
Curtis began
his career in the automotive business nearly 30 years ago. He recently joined
the Murdock team in 2012. What he has enjoyed most about his job at Murdock has
been working with people, both colleagues and customers.
Throughout
his career Curtis has owned his own used car dealership and served in
management at numerous other dealerships. He is certified in sales and finance
& insurance. To Curtis, customer service means putting the customer first.
This, he says, is the golden rule of business and should be practiced with any
and all customer contact.
Curtis is an active individual who enjoys tennis, golf, and running when he's away from the office.
Steve has been in the automotive industry with Murdock Chevrolet for 17 years. He previously spent many years in retail gaining leadership and management skills which have contributed to his success at Murdock.
Steve enjoys working with people and has a large, loyal client base. His attention to detail and desire to make every customer experience the best one is why so many continue to see him for all of their automotive needs.
Among Steve's passions are cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
McKenzie had been enthusiastically serving automotive clientele since 2011. Murdock Chevrolet was pleased she chose to join the organization in 2012. She loves her job at Murdock because of the people she works with and the family-environment.
To McKenzie, customer service means treating customers as family and understanding the importance of creating and maintaining great relationships.
McKenzie is currently studying integrated science at Weber State University. When not in the office she enjoys a day on the slopes in the wintertime and hanging out with her family. Other hobbies include painting and drawing.
Joe "jojo" Martinez has been in the auto business since 2006. Joe understands the value of customer satisfaction. His success has come primarily from repeat business and referrals from his happy customers.
Joe is bilingual, fluent in English & Spanish.
Bill joined the Murdock team in 2012 and brings a lot of professionalism and customer service to our organization. He began working in the automotive industry a couple of years ago. To Bill, customer service means treating people the same way that you want to be treated.
Bill's hobbies include pop culture T.V. and movie memorabilia.
Scott has been in the automotive industry since 1997 and joined the Murdock team in 2012. He graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Speech Communication and earned an MBA in 2008.
Scott's focus is in marketing, information technology, and business administration. His approach to sales is to listen to what his clients want and exceed their expectations with thoughtful, timely proposals and affordable solutions to meet their needs.
When not in the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and outdoor hobbies such as rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, waterskiing, and snowboarding.
